MTU WELCOMED NARESUAN UNIVERSITY DELEGATES (THAILAND)
On 14th April, 2019 Naresuan (NU) delegates team led by Assoc.Dr. Sombat Chuenchooklin visited and worked with MTU.
From the NU, Assoc.Dr. Sombat Chuenchooklin in the role of team leader together with Dr. Puripus Soonthornnonda, Dr.Assistant Prof. Auppatham Nakaruk and Dr.Assistant Prof. Wilawan Khanitchaidecha attended to the meeting with MTU.
From the MTU, Dr. Nguyen Van Xuan – Rector, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Long Giang – Head of Science Management and International Affairs Division and representatives of Civil Engineering faculty, Urban Infrastructure Engineering faculty jointly welcomed the NU delegate team.
At the meeting, representatives of the two universities discussed on the cooperation potentials e.g. exchange of students (including undergraduate and graduate students); exchange of lecturers and staff; joint research projects between the two universities’ researchers; support in planning new academic projects/programs; exchange of information and publishing; organization of joint workshops, conferences. Assoc.Dr. Sombat Chuenchooklin expressed the wishes of NU leader to promote relationship between NU and MTU by a Memorandum of Understanding.
On behalf of MTU, Dr. Nguyen Van Xuan appreciated the visit of NU representatives and affirmed MTU’s efforts in promoting and maintaining the relationship with NU. He agreed to pay a visit and sign the MoU with NU leader on the specific cooperative programs.
