About Political Theoretic Faculty

FACULTY OF POLITICAL THEORY

The faculty of Political Theory at Mien Tay Construction University  was established on the basis of the Marxist-Leninist Department of Mien Tay Construction College  on April 21, 2003.

In March 2008, the Marxism-Leninsm discipline was renamed the Department of Political Theory.

On December 15, 2009, the faculty of Political Theory was established at the Mien Tay Construction College according to Decision No. 1123/QD-BXD dated December 2, 2009, by the Ministry of Construction.

Faculty of Political Theory was established under the President of MienTay Construction University’s decision No. 81/ QD- DHXDMT on 19 March 2012.

  The faculty of Political Theory is responsible for managing and teaching the subjects of Philosophy of Marxism and Leninism, Political Economics of marxism and Leninism, Science socialism, Ho Chi Minh Thought, History of Vietnamese communist party, Introduction to Law and other subjects serving for some specialties of the university.

The current organizational structure of the department consists of one dean of faculty and one vice dean of faculty.

The faculty of the department currently includes six lectures with experience in teaching, including 2 PhDs, 1 PhD students, and 4 Masters.

Over the past 10 years of construction and development, the faculty has excellently completed its assigned tasks, receiving the title "Outstanding Labor Collective" for nine consecutive years (2005-2013) from the Minister of Construction. In 2009, the faculty received a Certificate of Merit and Decision No. 3471/QD-BXD dated August 13, 2009, from the Minister of Construction. In 2010, the faculty received a Certificate of Merit and Decision No. 1747/QD/TTg dated September 20, 2010, from the Prime Minister.
